Retelling of Surviving the Applewhites
Author's Note: This is my retelling piece that summarizes the story in the book Surviving the Applewhites.
A boy name Jake Semple is a thirteen year old delinquent who is a naughty kid. Got kicked out of every school he has been to. There is a rumor that he burnt down his old school. Anyways the only school that will take him now is a homeschool run by the crazy Applewhites family. There he needs to Survive going to school with the Applewhites.There he meets E.D. Applewhite, who is a lot different than her family and has nothing in common with Jake. E.D's father Randolph hears Jake sing and has him be the lead role in the play " The Sound of Music".
